ABA is a type of therapy that can improve social, communication, and learning skills through positive reinforcement. It allows us to identify our behavior as a tool of communication.
Its important to know the function of each behavior in order to know what needs are needing to be met.
We can then work on replacing inappropriate behaviors with more appropriate behaviors in order to get the same need met.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN GETTING SERVICES STARTED
Learn About The Process
Upon making contact with us we will gather your insurance information along with sending you an intake packet. Upon gaining authorization from your insurance our BCBA will contact you to set up the initial assessment. Your BCBA will ask you a series of questions in order to gain insight as to what is important to your family and the goals you would like accomplished through ABA therapy. Upon arrival to your home the BCAB will ask any other questions to gain more information about your child and will complete a "standardized" assessment. Based off of this assessment there will be a recommendation of the amount of hours needed to see the most progress within your child. From this assessment and information you have given the BCBA there will also be the creation of goals. We submit to insurance and once we have approval from your insurance we can get services started!
